We believe freedom is for everyone.
We believe freedom is worth fighting for.
We believe freedom means respect for one’s neighbour,
We believe freedom means dignity for humanity
We believe freedom means caring about education for everyone.
Humanity is young in the cosmological scheme of things and we continue to struggle to live in peace and harmony with each other and with our planet.
While we celebrate how far we’ve come, we must not lose sight of how far we’ve yet to go.
Education and opportunity are the keys to freedom.

Challenging the old, building on the existing, setting the stage for the next.
Over 80% of the Earth’s people are literate…but that leaves almost 20% of people fumbling in the dark.
While the number of people living in poverty is falling, it’s not happening fast enough to slow the spread of despair and violence.
We must work together to deliver hope to humanity.
We will stand on the shoulders of those who have come before and use their legacies, their words and ideas, as the foundation for the future
To inspire us to try harder,
To not give into despair or cynicism
We will work together to build a better world for all, a world where gender and geography no longer define us.
A world education is available to all…
A world where individual talents are encouraged and maximized
A world where equality of opportunity is not just a goal but a right
A world where we build bridges, not walls.
A world where the bonds of friendship formed on the playing field find purchase in the workplace and society at large
A world where anything is possible
A world where we put aside petty differences for the betterment of humanity
